HUMANTAY LAGOON
DAY TOUR
OVERVIEW
A beautiful place is Hide
in Humantay Mountain, under imposing
mountain peaks and hanging glaciers, is the Humantay Lagoon, one of the most incredible bodies of water that we
have seen. Amazing shades of bright blue and green shine in the water that
feels out of place sitting on the top of a mountain.
It is not surprising that centuries ago, it was a sacred place for the Incas;
you can still feel the magic energy of the place.
While hiking you will enjoy the views over the surrounding valley and Salkantay, the homonymous mountain of
the popular trek of several days in the region, which goes to Machu Picchu. The area itself is
beautiful, which certainly makes the hike more manageable.
Gaining altitude is enough to make the hike more challenging but if you do it
slowly and you stop to breathe on the road, you will not really feel it as
difficult as any other uphill hike you have done.
Be part of this adventure, travel, live and feel the adrenaline of this hike
with our professional team.
