7:00 am We pick you up from your hotel then, we begin our exiting journey to the Colca Valley following the Interoceanic road that goes by Yura cement factory and skirting the imposing colossus Chachani volcano.
2 hours later we reach the Vicuña National Reserve here we do the fisrt stop to enjoy this beautiful highland scenary, take the best pictures and learn everything about the wildlife and behavior of the non-domesticated South American camels (vicuñas and Guanacos)
The National Reserve is situated at around 4000 meters / 13.200feet. we suggest to drink a good Inca tea to mitigate the symptoms of altitude sickness then.
later on, we visit a very interesting place known as Sumbay where there are very interesting and beautiful Painting in caves from (Paleolithic Era 8000 BC). Let’s enter through a bumpy road to reach a ghost town named Sumbay, we take pictures of this weird place then we walk through nice area with interesting rock formations and a nice litle canyon to get to the Caves, finally we find the rupestrian rock arts, close your eyes for a moment, this places has a lot of energy and It can take you literally to more than 8000 years in the past.
Sumbay shows the most significant representation of these first Peruvian men (hunting scenes, taming scenes and a great number of animal in different attitudes such as pumas, vicuñas, guanacos, big birds like ostrichs, besides humans figures and others drawn on the walls of the cave).
After we enjoy this special place we go back to the main road to continue to the wetlands where you will experience a diferent admosphere and of course more animals species.
later, we reach the highest point of the entire tour 4910 meters a natural viewpoint to observe part of the Andean volcanic chain and the most popular volcanos like Mismi famous for being the origin of the Amazon River also Ampato a very important divinity for the ancient cultures, popular for having preserved the mummified body of the Inca Princess Juanita sacrificed more than 7 centuries ago and if you want to see an active volcano there is one named Sabancaya giving a nice show for all the visitors. (we will stop here no longer than 10 min).
Next, we descent on a nice serpent road a bit more than 1300 meters and 30 minutes later we arrive to the Colca valley, enjoy a great traditional lunch with a wide variety of dishes later on, at the indicated time we transfer you to the hotel to let you rest.
at 3:30pm the tour guide will pick you up to go to the thermal baths (hot springs) to relax your body and muscles for about one hour then we return to the hotel, have the rest of the afternoon as free rest or walk in town by your own.
the town is very small you can get a nice dinner there many options by the main square.

Today we pick you up at 6:30am then we continue our journey following the left side of the Colca river where the countless fields full of crops, such as corn, amaranth, potatos, quinoa and abundant vegetation make this landscape beautiful.
One hour after we get to the viewpoint named Condor cross, to observe the 2nd largest flying bird on the world, whose scientific name is (Vulture Gryphus) or simply Andean condor, lets get the best pictures of the impressive mountains as well as the vetical walls and depth of this significant Canyon, take a look at the remote villages located in its interior part.
At the indicated time we continue through the valley doing stop in places of great tourist interest, observe the impressive hanging tombs which jealously house the ancestors of these settlers (Collaguas and Cabanas). We stop on the way to visit Maca community and to its colonial church and the handicraft market where people sell alpaca products and souvenirs made passionately by the them.
Then we continue to Chivay to enjoy another good lunch.
1 hour After our tour guide will take you to the private bus station where the tourist transportation to Puno departures, this journey will take about 6.5 hours, the bus/van usually stops on nice places to enjoy the scenery of the highlands (lakes and lagoons where a lot flamingos and other birds species are feeding themselves) take your time to stretch the legs, take pictures later you will be in Puno city around 7:00 pm
