This excursion has been designed to satisfy the expectations of our clients who arrive to Cusco – Peru, It will allow you to know the main cultural and natural attractions of the Inca Empire.
Cusco city and its surroundings as well as Machu Picchu, the Rainbow Mountain and Humantay lagoon are the places where you will spend your days better.
They are very impressive spots where you can ascend over 5000 meters above sea level in one day of excursion, you will also be able to see, participate and experience the customs and traditions of the local people.

Welcome at Cusco Airport then transfer you to the hotel, check in and free time to organize yourselves, it is advisable to drink an infusion of coca leaves to avoid altitude sickness.
At 1:20 p.m. we start our 5 and half hours tour, which will take us to explore the most interesting places inside and outside of Cusco city, the first place for us to visit is the Cathedral where we will learn and admire the religious ornamentation of this beautiful place then we continue walking through the narrow streets of Cusco to the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) where we will observe the beauty and the perfect harmony of the religious syncretism, after that, we move away from the city to visit very beautiful archaeological complexes and admire those incredible stone masterpieces such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
Finally, we return to Cusco city at approximately 18:00 hours.

This day we do a full day excursion to the Inca Citadel Machu Picchu, we pick you up at 4:40 am from your hotel to go to the train station Poroy or Ollantaytambo, then we will have a beautiful journey through the sacred valley surrounded by beautiful terraces and huge mountains.
Upon our arrival to Aguas Calientes town, (Machu Picchu town) we have to go to the little bus station, 20 minutes later we get to the main gate of the Inca Citadel Machu Picchu, once get in, we experience the best time of the excursion, walking inside of the lost city of the Incas with our tour guide, who is going to explain to us everything that we need to know about Machu Picchu and the Inca civilization, so you will be able to discover the history behind it as well as enjoying the marvel perfection of the construction.
Later on we have to board a bus to return to Aguas Calientes town to take a rest and to enjoy a typical lunch (optional) after that we have time to walk at the local market, buying souvenirs, taking photos among others, then it is time to take our train to go back to Poroy station in Cusco or Ollantaytambo, upon our arrival, our company staff will be waiting for us to transfer you to Cusco city.

Return Train Departure from Agua Calientes town: 3:20 p.m. or 6:20 p.m. It will depend on availability
the time of arrival in Cusco will depend on the departure time of the train from Aguas Calientes town (3 hours trip)
Today we have a short hike, so we have to decide between the two alternatives, the 7 Colors Mountain or Humantay Lagoon.
The 2 natural attractions are amazing because of their impressive panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains and beautiful valleys, we can also observe animals in their natural habitat.
The difference between this two places is, one of them show us great mountains of different colors formed by several types of minerals and the other one show us a very nice small lake formed by the thaw of the Humantay Mountain.
To start any of the 2 options, we have to pick you up from your hotel at 4:40 a.m. then we travel for about 2 and a half hours until the beginning of the hike. In this 2 options, the uphill hike is very similar in time, it takes about 2 hours approximately (if you want to go on horse, instead hiking, you can rent it at the same place) We will return to Cusco at approximately 18:30 hours.
The maximum height of the Rainbow Mountain is: 5100 meters / 16732 feet
The maximum height of the Humantay Lagoon: 4200 meters / 13779 feet
We will pick you up from your hotel, 2 hours and 20 minutes before the departure of your flight.
If you booked a bus, we will pick you up one hour before the bus leaves
if your flight or bus leave in the afternoon, you will have free time during the morning to explore and visit other places that we did not go with you

What do I need to bring?
It is better if your flight arrive in Cusco before 11:00 a.m.
Inform us if you have setbacks or delays when arriving in Cusco
It would be better if you come from another high place, such as (Arequipa, Puno or Bolivia)
For a good acclimatization you could be in Cusco at least 2 days before the excursion
Try to book a tour that involves physical activity in height (check our Programs)
Wear appropriate clothing for treks
Drinking coca tea during the day helps to reduce the effect of altitude (avoid drinking it before sleeping)
