Arequipa is a beautiful city founded in 1540 on a place specially chosen for their natural beauty and warm weather this beautiful city is located at 2350m at the foot of Misti, a gigantic conical volcano with 5825m. Arequipa is known as the white City, full of fine colonial buildings and has stunning natural landscapes like Colca and Cotahuasi canyons the deepest in the world.

7:00am We pick you up from your hotel, bus station or airport and then we begin our journey to the Colca Valley following the road that goes to the traditional Yura village, We also pass near to Quiscos valley and after 2:00hrs of travel We enter to Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, here we stop to enjoy the beautiful landscape, take pictures and know the life and behavior of the South American camels over 4000m (13.200feet) (Llamas, Alpacas, Vicuñas and Guanacos) also to enjoy a delicious Inca tea, which is going to help you mitigate the symptoms of altitude sickness, and of course to buy souvenirs made with alpaca wool then keep going gradually higher to visit a very interesting place known as the Sumbay Painting Caves (Paleolithic Era 6000 – 8000 BC). Situated to 91 km North West of Arequipa city, to get there we go on a bumpy road until an abandoned ghost town named Sumbay, we take pictures to this weird place then we walk through nice rock formations and narrow rocky canyon up to the Cave, finally we will find the rupestrian rock arts, showing the most significant representation of these first men (hunting scenes, taming scenes and a great number of animal in different attitudes such as Vicuñas, Guanacos, Pumas, Ñandu, Also figures of humans and rare figures carved on the walls).
Later on we go continue on main road to get to the wetlands where more wildlife species are living such as (birds, rabbits, Andean foxes).
After that we get to Patapampa a natural viewpoint and the highest place of the entire route where we will see the Mismi volcano considered to be the origin of the Amazon River also the amazing Ampato volcano for having preserved the mummified body of Juanita the Inca Princess, sacrificed more than 6 centuries Ago as well as the second most active volcano of Peru Sabancaya giving a nice show for all the visitors, then 30 minutes later we will arrive to Chivay town (3651m) the most important of all Colca Region, here we enjoy the traditional lunch with a wide variety of local food then we transfer to your hotel to take a rest and to have the afternoon free but if you book optional activities the tour guide will pick you up later.

After the optional activities we could return to the hotel if there is time or go directly to the restaurant
7:00 pm time for dinner in a traditional restaurant with folkloric music and some local dances
8:30 pm transfer only for those who booked the visit to the PLANETARY.
9:00 pm transfer to the hotel to rest.
6:00am breakfast and then we continue our journey following the left bank of the Colca River where the countless fields (pre inca terraces) full of crops, such as corn, potatos, quinoa, amaranth and abundant vegetation make this landscape incredibly beautiful, one hour after we get to the lookout point named Condor Cross, to observe the largest flying bird in the world, whose scientific name is (Vulture Gryphus) or simply Andean Condor here we get the best pictures of the impressive mountains as well as the walls and depth of this amazing Canyon with beautiful green remote villages located in its interior part. Then at the indicated hour we visit the Gayser of Pinchollo which is 9km far from the main route, it is situated at the base of Hualca Hualca Volcano, once we get at the place, we take a short walk to get very close to the Gayser , take pictures and admire how powerful it can be and of course enjoy some local fruit and snack in this particular place, then we have to return to the main route to continue doing some stops in places of great tourist interest, like Maca village, its colonial church, handicraft market, etc. After we go for lunch in Chivay town, one hour later the car pick us up to go to the high valley, where we will see the Enchanted Castles also Mollepunku caves another great place which show a theme in which the domestication of south American Camelids is represented, then we will pass by the Window of Colca to enter into the national reserve, 3 hours later we will be back in Arequipa city arriving approximately 7:00 pm

To drink coca tea during the day helps to reduce the effect of altitude. Avoid drinking it before going to sleep, as it could act as a stimulant and interfere with sleep.
